Turn off the circuit breaker, let it cool, then unscrew the bulb by hand. Respect the stated wattage, 15 W on E27 models and 40 W on the six-shade E14 model: a bulb that is too powerful heats the lining. Finally, check that the shade rests properly on its support before turning the power back on.
