Installing your industrial pendant light

The black workshop pendant is delivered pre-assembled; it only remains to be fixed to the ceiling. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker, attach the canopy (Ø12 cm) using the provided wall plugs, connect the wires to the terminal block, then adjust the chain length to the desired height (40 to 130 cm). Above a table, aim for about 70 to 90 cm between the bottom of the dome and the tabletop. Finally, screw in an E27 bulb (40 W max) — the process takes about fifteen minutes.

Caring for the dome and glass

To keep the matte black finish flawless, regularly dust the dome with a soft, dry cloth. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a slightly damp microfiber cloth while the lamp is off and cool. Avoid abrasive products that can dull the matte finish. A few simple steps are enough to keep this industrial style pendant light looking its original best.

Which bulb for the Bikkel pendant light?

An E27 base bulb of 40 W maximum, ideally a warm white LED E27 (2700-3000K) for a cozy kitchen or dining room atmosphere. As the bulb is not included, you are free to choose the light temperature and brightness suited to your room.

Is the pendant height-adjustable?

Yes. The 90 cm chain allows you to adjust the total height from 40 to 130 cm during installation by removing or adding links. This allows you to adapt the industrial metal pendant to your ceiling height and intended use (table, island, hallway).

Can it be used with a dimmer?
