Caponio is a pendant lamp with a thoughtful shape, inspired by the form of a hat.

It combines modernity with classicism and exudes lightness. Its design draws from the tradition of Italian design, subtly reinterpreting modernist inspirations. The metallic lampshade, with its rounded hat shape, harmonizes with the opal glass of the inner shade, which softly diffuses the light, giving the interior a pleasantly soft character. The height of the metallic lampshade can be adjusted relative to the glass shade.

Components and lamp functionality

The set is completed by a braided textile cable and a metal ceiling rose: both elements are matched in the same color range. A choice of colors is available: orange-red RAL 2002, black RAL 9005, white RAL 9003, olive RAL 6013, and blue RAL 5014. Caponio offers numerous interior composition possibilities thanks to its color range and compact dimensions (28 × 28 × 34.3 cm).

Caponio A features an interchangeable light source (E27 LED, up to 15W), which gives you total freedom to choose the color and intensity of the lighting, from a warm and relaxing glow to a cool and functional light. This allows it to be fully adapted to the ambiance of the interior and your needs.

Application and IP20 protection class

The lamp has an IP20 protection class and was designed for dry, sheltered interiors where light needs to create an atmosphere rather than withstand harsh conditions. It will be perfect in a living room, bedroom, or hallway, as well as in commercial spaces such as offices or restaurants, but anywhere it is not exposed to moisture or in direct contact with water. It is a good idea to arrange it in groups of several units. This lamp requires additional protection against rain, steam, and dust, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens (especially near a sink or stovetop), or outdoors on a balcony or terrace.

The Caponio pendant lamp pairs well with the floor lamp and wall light from the same series, creating a coherent and modern lighting set. Such a combination allows for visual continuity in the space, joining ceiling, table, and wall lighting into a harmonious composition.
