The Séram openwork rope pendant light dresses up a simple bulb with a hand-braided natural rope lampshade, featuring an open-weave design that lets warm light filter through and casts beautiful patterns on the ceiling. Its compact 23 cm lantern shape adds a bohemian and natural touch above a table, an island, or in an entryway.

The openwork weave of the rope creates soft, graphic lighting without glare: perfect for a cozy dining room or a living room you want to feel natural and inviting. Its small diameter works just as well as a single piece as it does in a group, aligned above a countertop.
Installation
Standard ceiling mounting on a DCL box. The 110 cm cable can be shortened during installation, and the height can be adjusted from 25 to 140 cm to suit your ceiling — allow about fifteen minutes. Turn off the power before starting work.
Maintenance
Dust the rope with a feather duster or a dry microfiber cloth; a light pass with a vacuum cleaner on low power using the brush attachment will revive the weave without damaging it. Avoid water and damp products on the natural rope.
Which bulb should you choose for the Séram pendant light?
Opt for a warm-light E27 bulb (2700 K), ideally with an amber filament: it enhances the openwork weave and casts beautiful shadows on the ceiling. Stay under 40 W and choose a low-heat LED.
At what height should it be installed above a table?
Leave 75 to 90 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the lampshade: the light will illuminate the meal without obstructing the guests' view. The height, adjustable up to 140 cm, makes this adjustment easy.
Does the natural rope yellow over time?
No, the rope keeps its natural beige tone in indoor use. Simply keep it away from moisture and direct heat sources to preserve its fiber.
