This isn't chaos; it’s pure pleasure! It is from this childlike spontaneity, courage, and joy that KOBAN A was born, a pendant lamp that combines freedom of form with design maturity.
The central element of the design is a metallic ellipse that unites the composition, like a track along which two glass spheres of different sizes move. Their asymmetrical arrangement catches the eye and sparks curiosity. This is lighting that isn't predictable, and that is precisely why it adds character and energy to a space.
The pendant lamp is available in two colors: timeless white (Signal White RAL 9003) and elegant black (Jet Black RAL 9005). KOBAN A pays tribute to childlike imagination in a modern form: subtle yet spirited, and entirely harmonious.
Pendant lamp components and features
KOBAN A measures 50 cm long, 20 cm wide, and 28 cm high, with a total length (including suspension) of 148 cm. The structure is an elliptical metal frame to which two glass shades, 15 cm and 20 cm in diameter, are attached. A 120 cm long polyester cord and two steel cables ensure a stable and aesthetic suspension.
The pendant lamp is equipped with two G9 sockets (LED max 2×12W), allowing you to choose the power and color temperature according to the needs of each interior. The 12 cm diameter metal ceiling rose integrates seamlessly with the whole, maintaining a clean and clear form.
Usage and IP20 / IP44 protection class
The Koban series was created for interiors that want to speak their own language. Koban A is available in two sealing versions:
- IP20: for dry areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or dining rooms.
- IP44: for areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms or toilets (with a suitable installation zone).
The Koban collection was designed with a coherent and comprehensive approach to lighting design. It includes not only the KOBAN A variant, but also two other pendant lamps, KOBAN B and KOBAN C, as well as the KOBAN D and KOBAN E wall lamps. The collection is completed by the KOBAN ST table lamp, ideal for a bedside table, console, or chest of drawers.
