Articulated wall lamp, cork lampshade & long black arm Ø 30 cm | Prestige Chic

The Prestige Chic articulated wall lamp combines a long, adjustable matte black metal arm with a natural cork lampshade. Its 90 cm arm folds and unfolds over a bed, armchair, or desk to bring light exactly where you are reading, without moving the fixture.

The cork diffuser (Ø 30 cm) softens the warm light, and the light-colored interior of the shade reflects it broadly: ideal as a wall-mounted reading light for the bedroom, next to a living room sofa, or fixed at countertop height as a desk wall lamp. Placed near an armchair or workspace, it also serves as a discreet wall-mounted reading light that illuminates the page without flooding the room. The wall plate features a built-in switch, and the lamp plugs into a standard outlet: no major electrical work is required.

Installing the articulated wall lamp

Attach the plate to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs, screw in your E27 bulb (not included), and then plug the cable into a mains outlet. The switch on the base turns the lamp on and off without touching the cable. The articulated arm can then be adjusted by hand, joint by joint, to direct the beam.

Caring for the cork lampshade

Dust the cork lampshade with a soft, dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush. The metal arm can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, without using abrasive products. Avoid excess water on the cork to preserve its natural shade.

Frequently asked questions

Is the lamp adjustable? Yes. The articulated arm folds in two places and pivots on its base, allowing you to move the lampshade up to 90 cm away from the wall.

Can it be installed above a bed? Yes, this is actually one of its most popular uses. Mounted at the headboard, this wall lamp above the bed directs light right onto your book thanks to its long arm, without bothering the person next to you.

Which bulb should I choose? An E27 base bulb, in warm white for a comfortable reading atmosphere. The bulb is not included.

Is an electrician required? No. The lamp plugs into a mains outlet and is turned on using its integrated switch; only wall mounting is required.

To maintain this natural aesthetic, explore our natural material wall lamps: the Cara Scandinavian wall lamp uses light wood to warm up a bedroom, while the Mori metal and wood model features an exposed bulb for a more raw light. Two alternatives that extend the cork and articulated arm ambiance of this wall-mounted reading light.
