Pendant, ceiling light or floor lamp: which shape for which use?
The pendant lights a precise area and is height-adjustable, the ceiling light covers a room without dropping anything over a passageway, the floor lamp moves the light where the ceiling is not equipped. What are the lighting standards for an industrial workshop?
The standards depend on the activity and fall under the client's study. What is verifiable here: the models whose listing states it are IP20, so reserved for dry indoor use, and the E27, E14, G9 or GU10 sockets remain replaceable. For a workshop, cool white is the best represented.
Warm white, neutral white or cool white: which temperature should you choose?

The socket decides the bulb you will buy again: E27 for a common screw bulb, G9 for a small module, GU10 for a directed beam, E14 for a small screw socket. A standard socket can be replaced at any hardware store, an integrated LED cannot.

At what height should you install a suspended industrial light fixture?
The height is adjusted at the cable: the pendant is brought down over the area to be lit, raised a little above a table to keep the line of sight clear, and the passage is left free in a hallway. Several pendants in the collection drop to 150, 155 or 160 cm.
How do you install a pendant on the ceiling?
Cut the power, locate the anchor point, fix the bracket, connect live and neutral, then put the cover back. Then adjust the cable to use: generally 70 to 80 cm above a table top, a little higher above a worktop. The Forgex XXL chandelier drops to 155 cm, which leaves some margin.
Can you make a suspended light fixture yourself?
