The Roots series
The Roots collection reflects Maytoni's "Modern Nature" philosophy, where organic forms and materials meet contemporary lighting design. These fixtures seem to emerge organically from the interior, creating a living connection between nature and architecture. The shades are crafted from five-ply plywood, coated with a special varnish that preserves their natural beauty and protects them from environmental influences. The matte black metal structure highlights the rich grain of the wood, which becomes the focal point of each model.
