Ceiling light | Kastella

This two-tier square ceiling light with glass rods dresses the ceiling with a crystal cascade on a square frame, surface-mounted to cast a soft light downwards. It sits above a table, a sofa or a bed, alongside our ceiling light.

What kind of light does a square crystal ceiling light give?

The tightly packed rods on the frame catch the light and spread it across the whole surface, which gives a wrapping glow rather than a hard point. Mounted close to the ceiling, the fixture lights mainly downwards and covers the room in one go.

• Crystal cascade on two tiers, visible in the photos
• Downward light, to be used as the main lighting
• Switched off, it remains a decorative piece on the ceiling
• A warmer feel with additional light sources

Other volumes from the same family can be found in our crystal ceiling light range.

Where should this square ceiling light go in the home?

The square shape works in the centre of a living room or above a kitchen island, and a bedroom suits it well when you want a soft light over the bed. Its IP20 rating rules out damp rooms.

• Living room, open kitchen or bedroom, as shown in the photos
• Dry rooms only, a bathroom would need better protection
• Place it in the centre of the ceiling for general lighting
• Other similar formats: square ceiling lights

How to choose between the gold and silver finishes?

On this square ceiling light, the choice comes down to the tones already present in the room. An interior with warm woods and brass calls for a gold ceiling light, while a grey or white decor pairs more simply with silver.

• Only two colours: Gold and Silver
• The crystal is the same whatever the finish
• Match the finish to the handles and taps
• Widen the choice with the silver-coloured models

The gold-finish ceiling lights also include more graphic shapes.

How to install and care for a crystal light?

Mounting is surface-mounted: the fixture is screwed directly to the ceiling and the crystal stays visible below. For care, this crystal ceiling light only needs a soft cloth, with no abrasive product that would dull the rods.

• Switch off the power before any work
• Surface mounting, like surface-mounted lights
• Regular dusting with a soft cloth
• CE certification and 2-year warranty
