The cascading hallway ceiling light plays on the contrast between gold-toned metal and crystal: a model measuring 50 cm in diameter, surface-mounted, with E14 sockets up to 60 W. It lights a living room, a bedroom or a hallway without getting in the way.
What kind of light does a crystal cascading hallway ceiling light give?
The gold-toned metal reflects light back into the room, the crystal diffuses it in glints, and the cascading shape staggers the sources to multiply the points of light. The E14 sockets take up to 60 W in total, to be shared between the bulbs you choose.
- E14 socket, bulbs not included
- 60 W maximum power
- Mains supply 220-240 V 50 Hz
- IP20 rating, for dry rooms only
Where should this cascading ceiling light be installed in the home?
It suits the living room, the bedroom and the hallway, and works well above a staircase. For other spaces, browse the hallway ceiling lights.
- Ø 50 cm, check the space above the landing
- Surface-mounted, flush to the ceiling
- Compare with the Round Gold Ceiling Light
- Small format: the Small cube design ceiling light, LED surface spotlight
How do you match this gold ceiling light to a contemporary interior?
This cascading hallway ceiling light draws the eye and acts as a focal point in the room. Around it, keep materials understated so as not to overload the whole, and complete the look with other gold lights.
- Curved shapes to echo the cascade
- Light or grey walls, no busy patterns
- Carry on with the contemporary lighting
- Choosing the right light for a living room ceiling light
What should you plan for before fitting a surface-mounted ceiling light?
Surface mounting fixes to a ceiling box and connects to the 220-240 V mains, a job best left to a professional. No recess in the ceiling is needed.
- CE certification
- IP20, dry rooms only
- 5-year warranty
