Black metal table lamp, natural cork lampshade | Stang

The black metal table lamp Stang combines an arched matte black metal structure with a warm natural cork lampshade. Placed on a desk, console table, or nightstand, this black table lamp diffuses a soft, amber light through the cork for a natural, Scandinavian ambiance. Its integrated dimmer on the base allows you to adjust the intensity with a simple gesture.

• Natural cork lampshade (Ø 20 cm × 12 cm): filters light into a warm, soft glow; every piece of cork is unique.
• Arched offset matte black metal structure: sleek design that leaves the space under the lampshade open.
• Dimmer integrated into the base: adjust the intensity from warm white to cozy, without needing extra accessories.
• Height 51 cm, compact 20 × 14 cm base: fits easily on a desk, entryway console, or nightstand.

Setting up the table lamp

No assembly required: the black metal table lamp Stang is delivered fully assembled. Screw in an E27 bulb (not included), plug it into a 220-240 V outlet, and turn the dimmer on the base to switch it on and adjust the light. The cork lampshade is already attached to its socket—simply place the lamp on a flat surface.

Maintenance

Dust the black metal frame and the cork lampshade with a soft, dry cloth while the lamp is off and cool. Cork does not like water: avoid liquid products and simply dab stubborn marks with a barely damp cloth. The matte black metal can be refreshed with a dry microfiber cloth.

Which bulb should I choose for this table lamp?

This E27 table lamp accepts any standard E27 bulb (40 W max, not included). We recommend a warm white LED (2700-3000 K) to highlight the natural nuances of the cork and create cozy accent lighting. Since the lamp features an integrated dimmer, a dimmable LED bulb allows you to lower the intensity to its minimum level.

Is the dimmer really built into the lamp?

Yes. The rotary knob on the base serves as both an on/off switch and a dimmer: no wall dimmer or smart bulb required. With a dimmable-compatible LED bulb, you can adjust the light from full brightness to an ambient glow.

What material is the lampshade made of?

The lampshade is made of genuine natural cork, a lightweight, eco-friendly, and warm material. Its surface lets a golden light pass through, and its grain varies from one lamp to another: your piece is unique. Diameter 20 cm, height 12 cm.

Is it suitable as a desk lamp?

Yes, that is one of its most popular uses. With its 51 cm height and compact 20 × 14 cm base, this desk table lamp clears up your workspace and directs light exactly where you read or write. The dimmer allows you to lower the light at the end of the day to transition from work to ambient lighting without switching fixtures.

In the same natural spirit, the Norsk, a Scandinavian table lamp with a cork shade, recreates this pairing of black metal and cork for a bedroom or living room; for a lighter, woven material, the Bloeba bamboo lamp with a black base adds a bohemian touch to a console table.
