KOBAN D is a wall lamp from the KOBAN collection, which combines the functionality of a wall light with a refined, minimalist form. Its design is based on a simple, graphic juxtaposition of a metal frame with a 15 cm diameter spherical white opal glass shade. The frosted glass subtly diffuses light for pleasant, glare-free illumination.
Its shape ties in with the entire KOBAN collection, drawing inspiration from the freedom, flexibility, and playful movement of childhood. KOBAN D will prove itself just as well as a standalone light accent as it will when composed with other luminaires from the series, bringing a calm and luminous geometry to the interior.
Components and features of the wall lamp
The wall lamp is made of metal and glass. The metal frame and wall rose feature a matte, textured finish, which emphasizes the modern yet timeless character of the fixture. The 15 cm diameter glass shade is made of white opal glass for soft, diffused light.
Inside is a socket for a G9 light source (LED, 12 W maximum). The wall lamp measures 22.3 cm in length, 15 cm in width, and 30 cm in height. It is designed for wall mounting, for example above a bed, over a mirror, in the entryway, or in hallways.
Use and IP20 / IP44 protection variants.
KOBAN D is available in two tightness variants:
- IP20: for dry interiors, such as bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways,
- IP44: for rooms with higher humidity, particularly bathrooms or kitchens.
The wall lamp is therefore suitable for both living spaces and more demanding areas, such as hotel bathrooms, wellness areas, or modern kitchens.
The D model is part of the extensive KOBAN collection, which also includes pendant lights (KOBAN A, B, and C), a second wall lamp model (KOBAN E), and a table lamp (KOBAN ST). It is a visually coherent lighting series that allows for furnishing entire interiors with a harmonious aesthetic.
