Ceiling light fixture | Sorvesisto

The modern gold ribbed glass cylinder ceiling light brings a crisp, warm light to a living room, bedroom or hallway. It joins our ceiling light fixtures and mounts as a surface fixture, directly against the ceiling, with an E14 socket and a 230 V supply.

What kind of light does this gold ribbed glass ceiling light give?

The ribbed glass filters the beam and softens the direct light from the single light point, which avoids a spotlight effect on the ceiling. The bulb is not included and the final result depends on the one you choose.

• A single light point, with an E14 socket
• Power of 7 W max per bulb
• Cylindrical shade in ribbed glass, which lets the bulb show through
• 230 V supply, bulb not included

Which rooms suit this brass ceiling light?

This gold ceiling light is made for the living room, bedroom, kitchen, hallway, entrance, dining room and study. A modern dining room ceiling light as well as a living room or dining room ceiling light fits here, with a focused light to complete in a large space.

• IP20: dry rooms only, best avoided in the wet zone of a bathroom
• Surface mounting, 10 cm wide excluding height, useful in a narrow hallway
• Compact tube shape that does not overwhelm a small space
• A more diffuse alternative: Ultra-thin round LED ceiling light with luminous diffuser

How to match a brass and glass ceiling light in a living room?

Gold and clear glass work with a modern interior, and brass pairs well with light wood or matte black without competing with the light. To choose the colour temperature of the bulb, see our article on the on-trend living room ceiling light: choosing the right light.

• Keep a single family of metal finishes in the room
• Pair with white, beige or wood for a understated gold
• Place this type of ceiling light at the centre of a medium-sized room
• See all our gold ceiling lights for other formats

How to fit and care for this ceiling light?

The surface mount fixes directly to the ceiling and connects to 230 V, a job to entrust to an electrician. The glass shade, as with our glass light fixtures, is dusted while switched off with a soft cloth.

• Measured dimensions: 18.5 cm, 10 cm and 10 cm
• Gold brass structure, to be wiped without abrasive products
• Clear ribbed glass, to be handled with care when cleaning
• 2-year warranty and CE certification
