The black metal cage living room ceiling light brings an industrial light to a room of 7 to 14 m2: its openwork structure lets light through, its E27 socket sits flush against the ceiling and its graphic silhouette finds its place above a table as well as in a reading corner.
Which cage living room ceiling light for a room of 7 to 14 m2?
The stated lit area ranges from 7 to 14 m2, the scale of a child's bedroom ceiling light, a dining area or a living room. This cage living room ceiling light is surface mounted: the plate stays on the ceiling without dropping into the walkway, like most industrial ceiling lights.
- Surface-mounted plate, nothing hanging in the walkway
- Cage shape that frames the eye above a table
- 15W with an E27 socket
- Room up to 14 m2
In which rooms should this black ceiling light be installed?
The manufacturer recommends the dining room and the child's bedroom, and dining room lights meet the same desire for direct light at the centre. The industrial style works just as well as a living room or dining room ceiling light; to decide, see choosing a black ceiling light for your living room.
- Above a dining table
- As general lighting in a living room
- In a child's bedroom, with no hanging pendant
- IP20: dry rooms only
How to coordinate this black metal cage ceiling light?
Matte black metal pairs with light woods, white walls or workshop-style settings, as with black ceiling lights. The cage stands on its own without a shade; compare it with the Osier Ceiling Light for a lighter material.
- Pair with raw materials or dark woods
- Add a second source for the corners
- Keep the same metallic tone on the other lights
- Avoid two ceiling lights competing for attention
What light does a cage ceiling light with an E27 socket give?
The openwork structure lets light filter out at the sides in addition to the downward flow, giving a livelier effect than an opaque diffuser. The E27 socket lets you choose the colour temperature of the bulb; for a larger room, see the Large Ceiling Light, and the 2-year warranty covers this model.
- E27 socket, LED technology
- 15W stated
- 220V, CE certified
- Recommended area of 7 to 14 m2
