Outdoor light fixture | Calsamano

The outdoor light fixture in black with an opal glass globe combines an opal glass globe with a black aluminium arm: on a terrace or in a stairwell, it wraps the light around you. Its E27 socket lets you choose the bulb, and with it the mood.

What kind of light does this outdoor fixture with an opal globe give?

Opal glass, scattered with tiny bubbles, surrounds the bulb and gives back a soft light rather than a dazzling point on the wall. To see where this model fits, browse our outdoor light fixture.

• Opal glass globe, lightly bubbled
• E27 socket, bulb up to 60 W
• Mains supply AC 100-240 V
• Diameter Ø 20 cm

Where should this outdoor wall light go in the house?

The manufacturer intends it for outdoor and terrace use; indoors, it works just as well as a wall light on an indoor staircase as in a hallway. Its 16 cm projection leaves room to pass a shoulder in a narrow corridor.

• Recommended rooms: outdoor, terrace, bedroom, living room, hallway, staircase
• Wall mounting, mains supply
• Ø 20 cm for 16 cm projection
• Other models: outdoor wall lights

What difference do black aluminium and IP54 make day to day?

The arm and backplate are aluminium, with a grained black finish that keeps its line with no special upkeep. On an outdoor terrace wall light, IP54 matters as much as looks: protection against dust and water spray, useful near a door.

• Aluminium structure
• Textured black surface
• CE certification, 5-year warranty
• Worth comparing: LED wall light sphere curved arm

How do you match it with the rest of the house?

The pairing of white glass and black metal sits well with other black wall lights in a hallway. Repeated at two points, this black outdoor wall light holds the line, just like our indoor staircase lights.

• Black echoed on the other wall points
• White globe that reads clearly on a pale wall
• Contemporary style, one model sold, in black
• Heights to check: choosing the right lights room by room
