A round ceiling light with an opal diffuser in a modern style dresses a living room, dining room or hallway in soft, even light. Its glass sits on a steel frame, outlined with a gold ring, completing our range of ceiling light fixtures.
What kind of light does a round ceiling light with two E27 bulbs give?
The opal diffuser, as on most of our glass ceiling lights, spreads the light without hot spots or direct glare. The two E27 sockets each accept 15 W maximum, enough to adjust a living room light or a dining room one.
- Bulbs not included, to be supplied separately
- E27 base, standard and easy to replace
- 2 x 15 W max at 230 V
- Free choice of colour temperature: warm in the dining room, neutral in the hallway
Which room suits this ceiling light best?
This round ceiling light lights a whole living room or a dining room with even light. It also works as a hallway light or entrance light, with continuous illumination.
- Living room and dining room: living room dining room ceiling light, general lighting
- Dining room: above the table, without glare
- Bedroom or study: understated, discreet on the ceiling
- Kitchen, hallway, entrance: continuous circulation light
How to choose between the white and the black finish?
Both models share the same steel frame and the same gold ring, only the contrast changes. A modern white dining room ceiling light blends into the ceiling, while in black it draws a crisp ring on a pale wall.
- Steel frame, identical gold ring
- Compact format: 25 x 25 x 8 cm
- From light wood to dark wall, modern style
If you are after a more graphic style, the Gold ceiling light with interwoven rings and LED lighting plays a different tune. For a workshop look, the Industrial ceiling light with curved luminous arms, round shape remains an option.
How to install it and care for it day to day?
It is surface mounted, with the frame against the ceiling, and its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry rooms. The wiring is detailed in our guide to wiring a ceiling light step by step, with a 2-year warranty.
- Surface mounted, against the ceiling
- IP20, not for damp rooms
- Glass dusted with a soft, dry cloth
- Switch off the power before any work
