Wall light | Samara

This contemporary wall light with a curved arm and cylindrical linen and fabric shade combines a silver metal base with a long, slender arm. It frees up the bedside table as well as the living room corner, and its E27 socket lets you choose the bulb: find it in our selection of wall lights.

What light does this contemporary wall light with a curved arm give?

The curved arm brings the shade out above the furniture rather than pressing it flat against the wall, and the light falls on the useful area. The E27 socket takes a bulb up to 40 W, so both the shade and the intensity are yours to choose.

• Cylindrical linen and fabric shade, softened glow
• Single E27 socket on a silver metal base
• 40 W maximum, to adjust to the look you want
• IP20: light for dry rooms only

Where should this linen wall light be installed in the home?

In a bedroom, this bedroom wall light replaces the bedside lamp; see wall lights for the bedroom. In the living room, it is fixed high above the sofa; in the hallway, it completes hallway lighting without cluttering the passage.

• Height 145 cm, reach of 130 cm from the wall
• Bedroom, living room and hallway, the rooms it is intended for
• Wall mounting, no cable on the floor
• Indoor wall light, to avoid in damp rooms

How to match this silver wall light with the rest of the room?

Silver metal and linen form a neutral pairing, at home on a white wall or light wood. The fabric wall light matches the curtains; for other curves, see arc-shaped wall lights.

• Silver and grey finishes on the base
• Linen, fabric and metal together in one model
• Contemporary style, arc shape
• To place in pairs around a headboard

How do you install a wall light with such an extended arm?

The arm of this contemporary wall light starts from the wall base: the power supply comes in behind the backplate, not at floor level. Check the height 145 cm and the 130 cm reach before drilling, so the shade falls in the right place.

• Silver metal wall base, exposed E27 socket
• One model sold, no colour choice
• CE certification, keep the instructions
• 2-year warranty on the light

In the same spirit, the curved-arm sphere LED wall light replaces the cylindrical shade with a globe. The two-globe version in opal glass takes a more golden tone.
