The Java bedside reading lamp combines an adjustable head with a black and natural woven bamboo lampshade: direct the light towards your book in the evening, then tilt the head up for ambient lighting. A warm, compact 39 cm light fixture that fits perfectly on a nightstand, desk, or console table.
- Diamond-pattern woven bamboo lampshade, black & natural — Ø 12 cm x H 11 cm
- Adjustable and tiltable head to direct the light
- Total height 39 cm · round base Ø 15 cm
- E14 socket · 40 W maximum · switch on the cable (170 cm)
- Indoor use, IP20 rating
Thanks to its adjustable head, this bedside lamp transforms into a true reading light: the light filters through the bamboo weave and casts lovely shadows on the wall. Ideal for reading in bed without glare, it adds a natural and bohemian touch to the bedroom.
Installation
No assembly required: place the lamp on your nightstand, plug it in, and use the switch on the cable. Then, point the head toward your book or the ceiling depending on the desired mood.
Care
Dust the bamboo weave with a dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush. Avoid water and abrasive products, which could mark the natural fibers.
Can it really be used as a reading lamp?
Yes: its adjustable head precisely directs the beam toward a book, making it a true bedside reading lamp. A warm-light E14 bulb provides comfortable reading illumination.
Which bulb should I choose and can the light be dimmed?
An E14 bulb of 40 W maximum, with warm light (2700 K). To adjust the intensity, choose a 3-step dimmable E14 bulb: the switch on the cable is then enough to change the brightness level, without the need for a wall dimmer.
Is it suitable for an office or a child's bedroom?
Yes. Compact (39 cm) and stable on its Ø 15 cm base, it illuminates a reading nook, a desk, or a bedroom. The natural bamboo blends well with bohemian and Nordic styles.
