Bamboo reading floor lamp with a bold character: a matte black metal arc extends over your armchair, suspending a disc-shaped woven bamboo lampshade. Light filters through the weave to cast beautiful graphic shadows — a warm accent light that stands out as a decorative piece in its own right.
An offset arc, a woven bamboo lampshade
- Reading lamp design: the lampshade is positioned over the armchair or sofa, with no stand in the middle of the way
- Ø 60 cm disc lampshade in dark natural woven bamboo — warmth and texture
- Matte black metal structure, stable round base Ø 40 cm
- Foot switch on the cable — turn it on with a tap of your foot, no need to bend down
How to install your floor lamp
Nothing to drill: this floor lamp stands on the floor and plugs into a standard outlet (210 cm cable, European plug). Screw an E27 bulb into the socket (not included), position the arc over your seat, and then switch it on using the foot switch. Total height 175 cm, lampshade offset approximately 66 cm: allow for this clearance between the base and the area to be lit.
How to care for bamboo
Dust the woven bamboo lampshade with a feather duster or a dry microfiber cloth, following the weave. Avoid water and abrasive products, which dull the fiber. The black structure can be cleaned with a barely damp cloth while the lamp is unplugged.
Bamboo reading floor lamp: frequently asked questions
Which bulb should I choose?
An E27 bulb (not included), preferably warm white LED to highlight the bamboo weave. Avoid bulbs that are too powerful: the soft light of a reading lamp is perfect as accent lighting next to a reading chair.
Does this floor lamp need to be fixed to the wall?
No. It stands on its own on its weighted round base of Ø 40 cm and plugs into a simple outlet. You can move it from one room to another whenever you wish.
Which room is it suitable for?
Ideal in a living room over an armchair or sofa, in a reading corner, a bedroom, or an entryway. Its natural spirit complements bohemian, Japandi, and contemporary decors.
