This modern and contemporary style globe ceiling light combines metal and glass to cast a soft light above a table. At 120 cm long with its evenly spaced globes, it lights 27 to 54 m² and comes in white or black.
What kind of light does a glass globe ceiling light give?
The glass of the globes, as on most of our glass light fittings, filters and softens the light: the effect is enveloping rather than a direct beam falling straight onto the table. In a dining room, it is the bulbs you screw in that decide the tone and intensity, not the fitting alone.
- Stated wattage: 15 W
- E27 base, bulbs not included
- Dimmable with compatible bulbs
- Glass globes, metal frame
Which rooms suit this living room and dining room light?
Above a table, this long, low model marks out the dining area without weighing on the room, a common choice for the living room. It works well in a living room or dining room, also fits in an office or bedroom, and compares readily with the Oval woven rattan ceiling light with wavy edge for a more natural feel.
- L 120 cm x W 42 cm x H 43 cm
- Lit area of 27 to 54 m²
- Surface-mounted to the ceiling
- IP20, dry rooms only
How do you match this light to a modern interior?
Metal and glass stay understated and pair well with contemporary furniture. In a modern dining room, white blends into the ceiling and black draws a crisper line.
You can pair it with other pieces from the full range of globe lights or opt instead for the Gold ceiling light with interwoven rings and LED lighting, which is more decorative.
- Two colours: white, black
- Metal frame and glass globes
- Globe shape
- Modern and contemporary style
How is this surface-mounted light installed and cared for?
The surface mount screws onto a plate fixed to the ceiling, onto the existing mains supply, without touching the rest of the installation. Care is limited to a soft cloth on the glass, and our guide to choosing the perfect black ceiling light for your living room helps you decide between the two shades.
- Power supply AC 220-240 V 50 Hz
- Mounting plate included
- Glass to be cleaned with a soft cloth
- 2-year warranty
