The wall light Kop A is a modern wall light with an opal glass sphere and a horizontal arm: a soft glass globe carried by a slim metal arm. In black or white, its 12 W LED lights 5 to 11 m² of a hallway, staircase or desk corner.
What light does this modern wall light give?
The opal glass spreads a soft, even light with no glaring hot spot. The metal arm holds the sphere upwards or forwards depending on how it is mounted, and this LED wall light needs only 12 W.
- 12 W LED technology, G9 base
- Bulb not included, to be ordered separately
- Dimmer compatible to lower the brightness
- Lit area of 5 to 11 m²
For a more rounded arm, see the Curved arm sphere LED wall light.
Where to install a wall light in a staircase or hallway?
In a passageway, the light should reassure without dazzling: placed high on the wall, the opal sphere lights the step without casting a direct glare. It is an obvious indoor staircase wall light, and it also works in an entrance or near a desk.
- H 35 cm, W 15 cm, D 23 cm
- IP20: dry indoor rooms only
- Wall mounting on mains 220-240 V
- Black or white to match the wall
For the climb, see the staircase wall lights. On the landing, the hallway lights complete the set.
How to match this white or black wall light to your interior?
White blends into a light wall and keeps the volume discreet. Black draws the arm and the backplate on a stronger wall, and this modern wall light keeps the same opal glass in both cases.
- Only two colours: black and white
- Metal and glass, ball and tube shape
- Modern, minimalist style
- Repeat along a hallway or stairwell
The white wall lights take over on a light wall. Compare with the Gold opal glass two-globe ball wall light for a pair of globes.
How is this wall light fitted and maintained?
It is fixed to the wall on the round backplate, and the wiring is prepared before screwing the body of the light in place. The opal glass is cleaned dry or with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products.
- Wall mounting, AC 220-240 V 50 Hz
- G9 bulb to be ordered separately
- IP20: avoid damp rooms
- 2-year warranty and CE certification
The room-by-room selection guide helps to spread the light points around a home.
