The wood and black three-cylinder oval base ceiling light combines a light wood base with three black metal cylinders for direct LED light over 5 to 11 m². It features in our selection of LED ceiling lights and mounts surface-mounted in the living room or office.
What light does a wood and black three-spot LED ceiling light give?
The light comes down from three black cylinders, which keeps a clean outline on the ceiling and avoids the halo effect of a single diffuser. With 12 W in a GX53 base, this ceiling light covers 5 to 11 m² depending on how light the walls are.
- three cylindrical light points
- 12 W LED, GX53 base
- direct downward lighting
- 220 V, CE certified
Where should this ceiling light go in the home?
The wood and black ceiling light is intended for the living room, bedroom and office, three rooms where you want clear light without cluttering the ceiling. Its IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms, which rules it out for a bathroom.
- recommended rooms: living room, bedroom, office
- IP20, so dry rooms only
- for the living room, see living room ceiling lights
- for work, see office ceiling lights
How do you match it to a modern living room or a bedroom?
For a modern living room ceiling light, the light wood base warms the black metal and pairs well with oak furniture. In a bedroom, its oval shape of 55 x 11 cm follows the line of the bed without taking up the centre of the room.
- light wood and black metal, two easy-to-match materials
- see the black lights for a more graphic look
- compare with the Oval woven rattan ceiling light with wavy edge
- or the Contemporary oval gold ceiling light with six LED rings
How do you install and care for this wood and metal light?
The base screws to the ceiling surface-mounted, only 7 cm high, then the wiring is done on 220 V after switching off the circuit breaker. The light then only needs a dry cloth, with no abrasive product.
- surface mounting on an oval base
- 220 V supply, switch off the power before installation
- dry cloth on the wood and cylinders
- 2-year warranty
