Ball wall light in gold with a marbled glass sphere: this contemporary piece casts a soft, steady light on the wall, between hallway, bedroom and staircase. Find it in our wall light selection, with its veined sphere and gold brass base.
What light does a ball wall light in marbled glass give?
The marbled glass sphere softens the light and spreads it through the room without glare, with an E14 socket that takes a bulb of 7W maximum. No bulb is included, so the light tone stays open: a warm white bulb gives the softest result.
- Marbled glass sphere, gold brass base
- Size: 20.5 cm, 12 cm and 19 cm
- E14 socket, one bulb of 7W maximum, not included
- 230 V, CE certified, 2-year warranty
Where to install this ball wall light in the home?
The wall light suits the hallway, staircase, bedroom, living room, entrance, dressing room and toilet, but its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry rooms only, not for a bathroom exposed to splashes. A single sphere marks a bare wall, frames a mirror and makes a understated toilet light.
- Hallway, staircase, bedroom, living room, entrance, dressing room or toilet
- IP20: for dry rooms only
- High up on a staircase, or on either side of a mirror
- For this space, see our indoor staircase lighting
How to match marbled glass and brass with the decor?
Marbled glass and gold brass sit well with contemporary interiors and with light materials such as pale wood, white or stone. For a more graphic silhouette, the Curved arm sphere LED wall light follows the same approach.
- Contemporary style, ball shape, glass and brass
- Avoid several metal finishes on the same wall
- Another version: glass wall light
- The warm finish is shown in our brass lights
How to fit and care for this wall light?
It is wall mounted on a round gold backplate that sits flat against the wall, and care is limited to a soft, dry cloth on the glass and brass. On another wall, the Modern vertical bar tube and light disc wall light plays on the vertical line.
- Wall mounted on a round backplate, flat against the wall
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth, no abrasive products
- Switch off the power at the breaker before fitting
