extendable wall lamp, blue velvet lampshade & 90 cm articulating arm | Velura

The Velura extendable wall lamp features a 90 cm brushed steel articulated arm topped with a blue velvet lampshade with a silver interior. Designed for reading in bed or lighting up an armchair in the living room, this reading wall lamp folds against the wall, unfolds over your pages, and directs its light exactly where you need it. The deep velvet adds a cozy, warm touch, while the steel provides a clean, contemporary line.

• 90 cm extendable articulated arm: two segments (39 cm + 35.5 cm) and multiple joints to move the light closer or further away without moving the lamp itself.
• Blue velvet lampshade Ø 30 cm: matte velvet fabric with a silver lining that diffuses soft light and adds a colorful note to your wall.
• Integrated dimmer + switch on the base: adjust the intensity at your fingertips, from evening dimming to full reading brightness.
• Cord with plug: connects to a power outlet; no electrician required for power supply.

Installing the wall lamp

Attach the wall base (15 × 9 cm) to the wall using the provided screws and anchors, near a power outlet. Clip the articulated arm onto the base, place the blue velvet lampshade on the frame, screw in an E27 bulb, and plug in the cord. The extendable wall lamp is immediately operational: unfold the arm and direct the light. Height is adjustable after installation thanks to the joints. Bulb not included.

Care

Dust the velvet lampshade with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth, following the grain of the fabric, while the lamp is off and cooled. The brushed steel arm and base can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and dried immediately to preserve the satin finish. Avoid abrasive products that could scratch the surface.

Is this lamp suitable for a headboard?

Yes. With its 90 cm articulated arm and dimmer, the Velura lamp is ideal above a headboard or nightstand: it clears space on the bedside table and directs a precise reading beam without dazzling the person sleeping next to you.

Is it a good wall-mounted reading lamp?

Absolutely. It is primarily a reading wall lamp: the arm unfolds over your book and the beam can be adjusted close to the pages, while folding it against the wall clears the space as soon as the lamp is turned off. It offers the comfort of a true reading light, wall-mounted rather than sitting on a table.

Which bulb should I choose?

Opt for a warm white E27 LED bulb (2700-3000 K) for an enveloping ambient light. To take advantage of the integrated dimmer, choose a dimmable bulb. The velvet lampshade and its silver lining particularly enhance warm lighting.

Does the integrated dimmer work with all bulbs?

The model is a dimmable wall lamp: the dial adjusts the intensity from dim to full brightness. For smooth dimming, use a dimmable LED bulb. A standard non-dimmable LED bulb will turn on and off, but without progressive dimming.

Can the arm be oriented in all directions?

The arm extends up to 90 cm and pivots on its joints: you can move it closer to your book, fold it against the wall, or turn it to the side. The lampshade also tilts to adjust the angle of the beam.

Velura is part of our family of reading wall lamps designed for reading in bed or in an armchair. In the same velvet style, the Pavone teal lamp with a large arc arm showcases deep color on a Ø 50 cm shade, while the Prestige Chic with dimmer uses an adjustable velvet lampshade to control light from dim to full reading brightness; for an even more mobile arm, the dimmable Zodiac LED articulates its beam exactly over your pages.
