BORRA A IP44 wall lamp L 20 cm

BORRA A is a wall lamp from UMMO's BORRA collection, a collection that literally imprints itself on the memory and lingers there for a long time. Inspired by the Swedish word "borra" (to drill), this unique wall lamp catches the eye and immediately adds character to any interior. Its design combines contemporary elegance with a light touch of industrial sobriety.

At the heart of the composition is a 15 cm diameter opal white glass shade (spherical and perfectly smooth), set on a 20 cm diameter metal disc. This geometric duo plays with contrasts: the photosensitive softness of the glass and the resilient nobility of the metal. Depending on the color variant (brushed brass with brass disc, white, or black), the lamp takes on a slightly different character: from subtle and elegant to strongly graphic and expressive.

Lamp components and functionality

BORRA A is a well-thought-out design, in which every component has both an aesthetic and a practical function. The central opal white glass shade diffuses light evenly, creating a soft and pleasant glow. Set on a metal disc (⌀20 cm), the wall lamp directs part of the light toward the wall, creating a subtle and interesting lighting effect.

The lamp measures 17.7 x 20 x 20 cm and features a G9 base, compatible with LED bulbs up to 12W, allowing you to choose the color and intensity of the light according to the interior. The black structural mounting base contrasts with the rest of the form and emphasizes its architectural character.

Application and IP20 / IP44 protection class

BORRA A was designed for various spaces, both residential and commercial. The standard version, with an IP20 rating, is perfectly suited for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, or relaxation areas. The IP44 version allows the lamp to be used safely even in areas exposed to humidity, such as bathrooms and restrooms, including near water points.

Thanks to its elegant and discreet shape, BORRA A is perfectly suited for luxury interiors, boutique hotels, spa areas, or designer bathrooms, whether as a unique accent or as part of a larger lighting composition. The wall lamp is an integral part of the BORRA collection, which also includes the BORRA B pendant and the BORRA ST table lamp: together, they form a coherent lighting ensemble, allowing for stylistic continuity throughout the entire interior.

Craftsmanship and unique character

Each lamp in the BORRA series is made with attention to detail, and its metal/brass and glass components are carefully crafted. In the brushed brass variant, it is worth highlighting its natural beauty: over time, this material develops a delicate patina, gaining a noble and unique look.

This is a proposition for those who appreciate quality and a timeless aesthetic: a classic in a modern edition. BORRA is simply UMMO in a deluxe version.
