Ce spot IP44 convient-il à une salle de bain ?
Son indice IP44 le protège des projections d'eau, ce qui le rend moins vulnérable à l'humidité qu'un spot non protégé. Ses pièces conseillées par le fabricant restent toutefois le salon et le couloir.
Que signifie IP44 sur un spot ?
IP44 correspond à une protection contre les projections d'eau, pas à une immersion ni à un jet puissant. Pour une terrasse ouverte, mieux vaut viser un spot dont l'étanchéité est supérieure.
Faut-il acheter une ampoule en plus ?
Non : l'éclairage est assuré par une LED intégrée, le culot annoncé est LED. Il n'y a donc pas d'ampoule séparée à commander ni à remplacer.
Peut-on l'installer sous une toiture ou en extérieur abrité ?
Rien dans ses caractéristiques ne confirme un usage en extérieur exposé : il est encastrable, fonctionne sur secteur en 165-265 V et sort à Ø 15,5 cm. Sous une toiture bien abritée, vérifiez d'abord l'épaisseur et la nature du support.

How many lumens do I need to light my room well?
Allow around 300 to 400 lumens per m² in a living area, a little less in a bedroom. Ideally, combine several light sources.
At what height should a pendant light be hung?
Above a table: leave 75 to 85 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the light. In a walkway: at least 2.10 m from the floor.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Connecting to an existing light point is simple. If in doubt, or to add a new power supply, call an electrician.
