The Sylva wall lamp dresses up a living room wall or headboard with a green velvet lampshade lined with gold and a long arched black steel arm that projects light exactly where you are reading. Its adjustable reach of 115 to 145 cm makes it a true wall-mounted reading light, requiring no drilling near the bed.
Installation
Wall mounting on the provided plate (2 screws). Connection via E27 socket (bulb not included, 40 W max) and cord switch: no two-way switch installation required. The arm is positioned by hand to direct the beam.
Maintenance
Dust the velvet lampshade with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth. Wipe the steel arm with a slightly damp cloth, without using abrasive products.
Which bulb for this wall lamp?
An E27 bulb with a maximum of 40 W. For comfortable reading, choose a warm white (2700 K); the gold interior of the lampshade warms the light even further.
Above a bed or as a living room reading lamp?
Both. As a bedside lamp, its reach, adjustable up to 145 cm, clears up the nightstand; near an armchair, it serves as a living room reading lamp and directs light onto the book without dazzling the room. If you are looking for an even more mobile beam, the rotatable Lumière Agile version swivels 360°.
Does green go with my interior?
This deep green velvet wall lamp pairs perfectly with light wood, brass, and cream tones in a contemporary living room. In the same graphic vein, the Gravity, black and gold model plays with contrast, while the Glass Sphere brings more diffused light to a bedroom.
