The PLAAT collection and the poet and writer Sylvia Plath are certainly linked by a glass lampshade :) The opaline sphere, characteristic of UMMO lamps, is designed to reveal the poetry of light. The metal tubes are intersected by a thin disc that caps a large lampshade. It looks like an umbrella :) It is this metal disc that distinguishes the PLAAT line, available in two colors: black and white, or black and white with gold elements. Depending on the tube size, the series includes pendants, ceiling lights, flush mounts, as well as a table lamp. UMMO light fixtures are assembled by hand from high-quality components in our Gdynia workshop. PLAAT, not a plate :)

Frequently asked questions
