Arched bamboo wall lamp, natural lampshade Ø 40 cm | Tikar

The Tikar bamboo wall lamp extends its black metal arched arm to suspend a generous natural bamboo lampshade with an openwork design of Ø 40 cm away from the wall. Fixed without a floor stand, it frees up space above a sofa, bed, or reading chair while diffusing a warm light, filtered through the fine bamboo slats. This bedroom wall lamp with a natural fiber style blends just as well into a bohemian living room as it does in a cozy sleeping area. The arm extends from 135 to 180 cm to bring clarity exactly where you need it.

• Natural bamboo lampshade Ø 40 cm (height 17 cm): light plays through the weave for a soft, bohemian atmosphere.
• Black metal arched arm: adjustable reach from 135 to 180 cm, height 145 cm — offset lighting without cluttering the floor.
• Wall mounting with dual plates (screws and anchors included), ideal above a sectional sofa or headboard.
• Tiltable E27 socket, bulb up to 40 W, 200 cm cable with integrated switch.

Installing the arc wall lamp

The arched wall lamp can be installed in about twenty minutes on a 220-240 V power supply. Screw the two plates to the wall (template, screws, and anchors included), clip on the arched arm, connect the E27 socket, and then attach the bamboo lampshade. Adjust the depth of the arch between 135 and 180 cm before final tightening. The 200 cm cable and its switch allow you to turn it on without relying on a wall switch. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker before any work.

Maintenance

Dust the bamboo lampshade regularly with a feather duster or soft brush, following the direction of the slats to preserve the weave. Wipe the black metal arm with a slightly damp microfiber cloth while the lamp is off and cooled. The E27 bulb is changed from underneath the lampshade without dismantling the structure.

Which bulb should I choose for this bamboo wall lamp?

Opt for a warm white LED E27 bulb (2700-3000 K), up to 40 W. The warm light enhances the natural shade of the bamboo and casts lovely openwork shadows on the ceiling. The bulb is not included, leaving you free to choose a decorative filament LED to reinforce the bohemian spirit.

Is the lamp suitable for use above a sofa or bed?

Yes, that is its ideal use. The arc arm offsets the Ø 40 cm bamboo lampshade from 135 to 180 cm from the wall, exactly above the seat or bedside, without a floor lamp. Allow for a ceiling height of at least 2.40 m; for a lower ceiling, reduce the arm reach during assembly.

Is the light adjustable?

The E27 socket is tiltable, and the cable switch turns the lamp on directly. To dim the intensity, pair a dimmable LED bulb with an external dimmer: you can go from bright reading light to a dimmed ambiance in the evening.

Bamboo or rattan: which fiber for natural decor?

The lampshade of this natural wall lamp is made of genuine woven bamboo, which is lighter and more structured than a rattan wall lamp. Both fibers offer the same bohemian warmth, but the openwork bamboo casts more graphic shadows on the wall. Its honey tone matches light wood, linen, and earthy tones.

In the same natural fiber spirit, the adjustable bamboo arc model with Ø 60 lampshade takes up this offset silhouette on a larger scale, while the long-reach extensible version pushes the reach even further over a sofa. To vary the material, the bohemian rattan and bamboo wall lamp mixes two weaves for a warmer atmosphere.
