To dress a living room, allow for a gold chandelier 40 to 60 cm wide in a compact room, and 100 to 120 cm in a large space. This collection brings together gold chandeliers in metal, brass, iron, glass or crystal, to be mounted on the ceiling of a living room, dining room, kitchen or hallway. Ceiling fan chandeliers complete the selection for rooms that need air circulation.

Room Available sizes Available sockets Structure type
Living room 40 to 120 cm, up to 100 x 120 cm E14, E27, G9, G4, GU10 from single pieces to multi-globe pendants
Dining room 50 to 120 cm, pendants 125 to 165 cm E14, E27, G4, G9, GU10 linear, round or clustered structures
Bedroom 20 to 60 cm E14, E27, G9 compact models, sometimes dimmable
Kitchen 25 to 90 cm G4, G9, E14, E27 small chandeliers and metal pendants
Hallway 32 to 43.5 cm E14 short arms and tight dimensions
Corridor 75 to 165 cm E14 long pendants

Which gold chandelier should you choose for the living room?

Allow 40 to 60 cm in a compact living room, and 100 to 120 cm or a 100 x 120 cm structure in a large space. The gold finish reflects light towards the ceiling and warms the seating area, while the rest of the room stays lit by other sources. Size therefore comes before shape.

Original living room chandelier: which shape stands out?

Spheres dominate the selection, ahead of round, oval, tube and dome shapes. The Yria Sphere Living Room Chandelier plays on glass globes and a black and gold frame, while the Cluster Suspended Spheres Chandelier lines up several volumes at different heights. These glass globes spread a direct, even light.

Large living room chandelier: when should you choose a large size?

Beyond 100 cm, the fixture becomes the focal point of the ceiling. The Elra Chic Living Room Chandelier comes in a 100 x 120 cm structure, in metal and aluminium with a linen covering that softens the effect. This size needs clearance: as a rule, keep about 80 cm between the edge of the chandelier and the walls. Other living room chandeliers follow the same approach to volume. For an interior with contemporary lines, also look at the modern style living room models.

Modern living room chandelier or a more classic style?

The selection leans towards contemporary, with gold metal lines, glass globes and horizontal structures. More dressed-up pieces rely on crystal and drops. The choice comes first from the structure, visible arms or suspended volumes, then from the colours they are combined with.

Designer chandelier: sphere, dome or cluster?

The sphere remains the most common shape, ahead of round, oval, tube and dome. A single centred piece suits a small living room, while a cluster of globes suits a taller space. The Mira Gold Glass Chandelier combines metal, glass and steel in a design that reads clearly from a distance, available in several widths. The original designs in the selection range from a single globe to a bouquet of spheres.

Gold alone or gold and black?

Gold appears throughout the collection, often with white, sometimes with black, more rarely with silver or blue. Black structures the frames and brings out the brass: this is the case with the Qira Black and Gold Chandelier and the Seni Globe Chandelier, a piece with eight glass globes. These black and gold combinations work well on a light wall. Contemporary creations favour fine stems.

Which gold chandelier above a dining table?

Above a table, aim for about 30 to 40 cm between the bottom of the fixture and the tabletop, with a structure of 50 to 120 cm depending on the surface. Long pendants of 125 to 165 cm suit very large tables and high ceilings. The light falls on the plates rather than in your eyes.

Chandelier for a round or rectangular table?

Over a round table, a cluster of globes or a round model fills the space symmetrically. Over a rectangular surface, a linear or oval structure follows the length. The Vilo Luxury Chandelier comes in several dimensions, a proportion designed for a tabletop. Other dining room pendants follow the same logic.

How many light points above a large table?

The longer the surface, the more light points matter, to avoid a dark area at the end of the table. The Essence Lumineuse Metal Kitchen Chandelier, in metal, glass and aluminium, comes in several lengths and lights a table as well as a worktop. A dimmer, available on some models, lets you lower the intensity during the meal.

A gold chandelier for the bedroom, kitchen or hallway?

The bedroom takes sizes from 20 to 60 cm, the kitchen pendants from 25 to 90 cm, and the hallway pieces from 32 to 43.5 cm in diameter. Small sizes and the E14 socket are common there. Each room calls for a different light: low in the bedroom, bright on the worktop, welcoming in a corridor.

Kitchen chandelier: which structure and material?

Metal dominates, often combined with glass or acrylic. The Bory Industrial Pendant Chandelier comes in sizes from 75 to 165 cm and works as well above an island as in a corridor. An affordable model is enough if the kitchen is not the main room.

A small gold chandelier for the hallway or corridor?

In a hallway, a diameter of 32 or 43.5 cm is enough: the two Ottilia Gold Chandelier models, in gold metal with an E14 socket, mount with short arms. For a bedroom, the Nebula Crystal Sphere Chandelier mixes brass, crystal and linen in a size from 20 to 60 cm. Other bedroom lights complete the room with a low light.

Large industrial, crystal or bohemian chandelier: which gold chandelier style?

The industrial register relies on metal, iron and brass, sometimes combined with black, with visible arms and lengths from 75 to 165 cm. Crystal brings facets, bohemian brings feathers or soft volumes. A large chandelier is therefore chosen as much for its structure as for its colour.

Large industrial chandelier: metal, iron and brass

These pieces show their mechanics: rings, rods, visible sockets. The Vilo mixes crystal, brass and iron on a linear frame, and the Qira combines metal, brass, iron and steel. To compare finishes, look at the gold brass pieces, then the wrought iron structures.

Diamond chandelier: what are we really talking about?

The term refers to a chandelier with drops and crystal, whose cut elements reflect light like facets. The collection offers them on brass, iron, metal or glass structures, with a gold finish. The effect depends on the density and shape of the suspended elements. The crystal compositions give the most luminous version. The fully gold pieces go further with the shade. The Lera Modern Design Chandelier, in feather and metal, shows the soft variant of this register.

Socket, light colour and dimmer: what does the technical sheet say?

This collection covers several sockets: E14, E27, G9, G4 and GU10. Colour temperature is chosen according to the room: warm white (2700 to 3500 K) for a living room or bedroom, cool white (4500 to 6500 K) for a worktop. Several models accept a dimmer, such as the Dandelion Chandelier or the Naeva Dining Room Ceiling Chandelier.
