The name FLUMINA comes from Latin and means "currents" or "rivers," and this is no coincidence. This pendant lamp is designed so that light flows freely through its form, diffusing gently into the space like a reflection on a body of water.
The FLUMINA pendant lamp is a nod to the design discipline born at the Bauhaus school, a place where form has always served function. Its design is a tribute to clean lines, economy of means, and the nobility of materials. The lamp's simple silhouette, devoid of superfluous ornamentation, relies on symmetry and proportion, inherited from the canons of the International Modernism movement.
Lamp components and functionality
FLUMINA was born from the combination of natural wood and fluted glass: this pairing provides both visual lightness and textural differentiation. The rhythm of the vertical flutes on the glass shade gently diffuses the light, offering a subtle effect of penetration and shadowing, while the warm tone of the wood brings softness and balance to the interior. The fixture measures 20.5 x 9.3 x 19 cm.
Suspended from a braided polyester textile cable, the lamp presents itself as a refined and functional luminous object, whether in the dining room, above a kitchen island, or in a living room or commercial spaces such as an office or restaurant.
FLUMINA features an interchangeable E14 base light source (up to 9W LED), which allows you to individually choose both the intensity and color of the light, depending on your layout needs and the interior ambiance.
Use and IP20 protection class
FLUMINA has been designed for safe use in dry domestic spaces. Its IP20 protection class means it is perfectly suited for interiors that are not exposed to direct contact with water or excessive humidity. It is an ideal solution wherever light is intended to build an ambiance, without requiring additional protection against the elements. However, it should be remembered that FLUMINA is not intended for bathrooms, kitchens near a sink, or terraces or balconies.
