Colors to choose depending on the style you want to give your interior

For a warm and bright hallway paint

To bring light into a dark or narrow hallway, or for a warm style such as charming, ethnic, or Nordic, favor light or warm colors. For example, for an ethnic ambiance, opt for a terracotta paint that will warm up your room.
Light-colored paint is ideal for a narrow hallway or one with small surface area. It helps to enlarge the space and preserve light and depth. Colors like beige, taupe, or pastels such as blue or pink are perfect for small hallways.

A more pronounced hallway paint to give character to the space

To give character to your hallway, choose a dynamic or dark color that adds distinction. For example, for an industrial ambiance, choose dark shades like black, anthracite gray, or brown. These colors bring character to your room. This style is ideal for wide hallways. For a hallway with significant height, opt for a turquoise or electric blue on a single wall or on the entire hallway for an original style.

A color-block style to define an entrance

For a unique and atypical entrance hallway, choose paint that covers the walls and ceiling, creating an airlock that defines the entrance. Add contrasting decorative objects for a unique and original interior. For example, for a Nordic ambiance, opt for a pastel shade.

For a light and airy ambiance with the impression of a long hallway, prefer color on the walls only. This creates an effect of length and volume.

For a refined and contemporary style, prefer a light paint with small shapes on the wall like colored rectangles on a light background, bringing length while remaining refined. Cubic shapes provide a tidy look.
For a contemporary decoration, opt for neutral colors like black, gray, or taupe. For a vintage style, choose vibrant colors like red, terracotta, duck blue, or yellow. These colors combine well with an art deco style.

Defining paint with moldings for an art deco style

A two-tone hallway

For original paint, opt for a two-tone decoration. This style consists of separating the wall into two parts with moldings, creating a linear style perfect for a contemporary or art deco style. The moldings define the colors for a real contrast. For example, for a neutral art deco style, choose a color like midnight blue or anthracite gray on the lower part of the wall. For a more pronounced style, paint the upper part and add white moldings at the bottom.
