Curtain Rod Options for Ceiling or Wall Mounting

There are many options for hanging your curtains or sheers, such as round rods, tracks, extendable rods, etc. Your choice will depend on the style you want to give your room, as well as where you plan to fix your rod: on the ceiling or on the wall.

Curtain rod

Available in four different lengths (150 cm, 180 cm, 200 cm, 250 cm), with a choice of two diameters (1.9 cm and 2.9 cm), and offered in four varied colors (black, steel with chrome finish, anthracite gray, and gold), this rod can be personalized with finials to suit your preferences and interior decor.

Generally installed on brackets fixed to the wall, ceiling, or between two walls, the rod can be matched with a complete range of brackets. You then have the opportunity to select the one that best meets your requirements.

If the width of your window requires a curtain rod longer than 250 cm, a rod connector will allow you to join two rods together. These rods are also adjustable in length, thus offering you great flexibility to adapt them to your interior space. Wall-mounted rod installation

When you opt for a wall installation of your curtain rod, the choice of rod bracket will depend mainly on your aesthetic preferences: whether it is a spectacle-shaped or cradle-shaped model, the decision is yours.

Ceiling rod installation

If you plan to hang your rod from the ceiling, it is recommended to opt for spectacle-shaped brackets to ensure proper fixing.

Adjustable rod

This type of rod has a tiny diameter and is intended for hanging window sheers, as it attaches directly to the window frames. They can be extended from 40 cm to 60 cm and from 60 cm to 80 cm.

Track rod

Also called a curtain track, this rod consists of a rail and small PVC hooks, called gliders, that slide along the rail. It is fixed to the ceiling. Sometimes considered less aesthetic than a bar, it can be hidden behind a cornice or a casing. A cord located on the left or right of the track allows you to pull the curtain or sheer fixed to the rail. Some double track rods allow you to hang both curtains and sheers with side opening (on one side) or center opening (on both sides)
