Its transparent lampshade with a faceted crystal pattern, suspended from a gold twisted cable and a brass mount, diffuses a warm light that sparkles through the chiseled glass. Placed above an island, a table, or a reading nook, it instantly adds a touch of retro chic.

Cut transparent glass lampshade in the shape of a carafe — Ø 12.5 cm, height 23 cm, faceted pattern that plays with the light.

Brass mount and twisted gold cable, matching Ø 10 cm ceiling plate.

Height adjustable from 25 to 150 cm thanks to the 125 cm cable: adjust it to your ceiling.

E14 socket, 40 W max, bulb not included — choose a filament bulb to highlight the glass.

IP20 indoor, Class I, delivered partially assembled, 2-year warranty.

A transparent glass pendant that reveals the bulb

The glass is entirely transparent, which makes all the difference: the bulb remains visible and becomes a decorative element in its own right. With an amber filament bulb, you get soft, dimmed light, ideal for an evening atmosphere. The diamond and gadroon cut pattern projects fine shadows on the surrounding walls. This vintage glass spirit blends just as well with a modern kitchen as it does with a retro-inspired dining room. To multiply the effect, several units lined up above a countertop create a real line of character.

Installation and maintenance

Installation is quick: the brass plate attaches to the ceiling with a few screws, then the cable is adjusted to the desired length between 25 and 150 cm. No specific tools are required; the fixture arrives partially assembled. Regarding maintenance, the cut glass can be dusted with a soft, dry cloth; to restore its shine, a slightly damp microfiber cloth is sufficient, without using abrasive products. The brass can be cleaned the same way to maintain its golden patina.

Which bulb should you choose for this carafe pendant light?

An E14 filament bulb (LED or incandescent, 40 W max) is ideal. Since the glass is transparent, a decorative Edison-style bulb enhances the cut pattern and diffuses a warm, soft light. The bulb is not included.

Is this bottle pendant light dimmable?

The fixture is not dimmable by default. To vary the intensity, pair a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible wall dimmer: you can then freely adjust the ambiance, from a convivial meal to accent lighting.

At what height should the pendant be installed above a table?

Allow for approximately 70 to 80 cm between the bottom of the lampshade and the tabletop. The adjustable cable (25 to 150 cm) allows you to find the right distance, whether the ceiling is standard or high.

Discover the full retro spirit in our vintage pendant light and glass pendant light collections.
